Getting Ahead instead of Just Getting By - Program Sponsored By Catholic Charities of Ashtabula County
With “Getting Ahead”, no one teaches. Instead, we learn from one another by sharing experiences, participating in problem solving discussions and exploring ways to strengthen our community by helping move families out of poverty. WE will explore the meaning and importance of 11 resources: financial, emotional, mental, language, social capital, physical, spiritual, integrity and trust, motivation, relationships and hidden rules.
Quantities are limited and selling fast, so don't wait too long!

Congratulations to Tina Perry and Kristen Ewing LJHS Dragon Staff Award recipients for the month of October.
During this unprecedented time, Tina and Kristen have been busy keeping our school and staff safe. Over the summer they attended many meetings with both the county and city health departments and district administration to keep up with the Covid-19 developments and protocols. Before school started, they kept busy making sure our building had enough masks, thermometers, and PPE. In addition, they checked Final Forms for Emergency Medical information for every student. With the increase of Covid cases in our county and neighboring counties, Tina and Kristen have been helping with contact tracing for our staff and students. Let us not forget our resident healthcare professionals, Tina and Kristen, and thank them for all they do!
